Girls Weekend!!

First, let me thank my wonderful hubby for taking such great care of my babies so I could go and enjoy a weekend with my friends. After meeting and loving on my sweet new cousin, I left to go on a quick weekend trip with my girls: Caroline, Emily and Kiki. So here is a brief overview: Johnny's Pizza, Albritton's Cake, Cheesecake Bistro, Games, Massage, Shopping, Superior, Pedicure, Miss America, Fuddruckers & Cheesecake. We had lots of fun and got to really relax. It will definately be an annual event!

Welcome to my cousin, Tanner Jay Warden

Tanner Jay Warden made his entrance into this world last week on 1-11-11. Brad & Brandy were due the first of February, but Tanner decided he didn't want to wait. Brandy's water broke on Monday night (1-10) and she was in labor until his birth later on Tuesday afternoon. Mom flew out on the first flight and made it in on Tuesday night. I left right after work on Thursday and went straight to meet him since they had gotten out of the hospital that afternoon. He is doing fabulous and we can't wait to see him again. PS- don't tell Abby Grace that I have already seen him! :)

Ashlyn Rose 10 months old!

Ashlyn Rose turned 10 months old last Thursday. I can't believe that she is almost a year old. She keeps us so busy. Ashlyn weighs right at 18 lbs and wears size 3 diapers and size 12 clothes. Her schedule is 8:30am- bottle, 10:30am-nap, lunch at noon, 2pm-bottle, 3:30pm-nap, dinner at 6pm and bottle at 8pm before bed. It is great that she sleeps until 8:30am because I can get Abby Grace up and to school and back before she wakes up. Justin is always home sleeping too.
Ashlyn would much rather have food than a bottle. This is the first month that we started her on table food. She loves eggs, biscuits, cheerios and cheese. Ashlyn is still cruising, standing and is fast as lightening. She claps, plays peek-a-boo and patty cake. Ashlyn loves to play with doors and talk on the phone. Her words include: Mama, Dada, Bottle, Bye, Hi, Gigi and Stop. She still does not like fruit!

10 day catch up!

On New Year's Eve, we went to a party at a neighbor's house and had a blast. We barely made it to 10pm!

New Year's Day, I cooked lunch and invited Mom and Dad over to the house. They got to hang out for a while and then we met Brian and Sharon at Babe's for dinner and then came back here to hang out.

Some of our family came in town this weekend to watch LSU play in the Cotton Bowl. Justin had a fabulous time!

Abby Grace won the "Razor Award" at school this week. I asked her what she had done to get the award and she informed me that she was "engaged in learning." I still can't get over how grown up she has become! For her reward, she wanted me to cook bacon, eggs and biscuits for dinner. Ashlyn tried eggs for the first time! Abby Grace and I decided to rent and movie and have popcorn and m&ms. She and I have the best time.

Today was our first snow of the season. Ashlyn was really upset because we were all wearing hats and I think it scared her. I had a minute to sit and write because Ashlyn is sleeping and Abby Grace is on a playdate!! AH......a few minutes of rest!
