Christmas 2010- LoBello Style

This year we spent all of Christmas week in West Monroe with the family. We got to visit with all the crew from Kentucky, Mimi, Deda, Brad, Brandy, Jess, Ashley, Baby Tanner, Jake, Stef, Jillian & Jessa-Clair. We also visited with Mamaw, Tom, Papaw, Nana and lots of other family members.

Highlights from the week:

- Various cards games at Mimi's house with the Kentucky crew.

- Visiting all my girls!

- Meeting five new babies (Jackie Dollins- Baby Jackson; Tiffany Telano- Baby Sarah and Mandi Sills- Baby Harleigh, Mason & Maddox)

- My husband finally arriving!

- Crazy dinner out with Mamaw & Tom

- Movie with Mom, Dad, Jake, Papaw, Justin, Brad & Brandy

- Watching Abby Grace & Deda play outside

- Mimi's awesome food!!

- Winning the poker game at Papaw's house! Oh yeah....the only girl against nine guys!!

- Sara's pecan pie!!!

- Johnny's pizza (five meals!)

- Cards with Jami, Sean & Ems

Abby Grace got to spend time with all her friends and had the best time. The girls got so many gifts that Papa & Gigi had to bring them back in their backseat because we didn't have any room. We had a wonderful time, but were so glad to get home. This year Abby Grace got a computer, reading chair, toys, movie, cd, etc. Ashlyn got alot of clothes and new toys. Justin even bought me a gift from Santa and sent me on a hunt....so sweet!

Nine Months and Catch Up on Life

Let's see....this past month has been crazy. Abby Grace had strep throat twice, Ashlyn had pneumonia and I had to take Justin to the doctor twice....and he NEVER gets sick. We had Thanksgiving in WM and Thanksgiving her with Justin's family and my parents.

We traveled to WM the weekend before Thanksgiving for a wirlwind of a weekend. We had Tanner Jay's baby shower, Jillian's 2nd birthday party, Jessa-Claire's baby dedication and Thanksgiving/Birthday celebration at Mimi's house. We also had Sara's fabulous cooking with the whole family! I was so excited that Justin got to join us for the weekend...he needed a break.

We got home on Monday and Justin's family came in on Wednesday. Sam, Betty, Cara, Anthony and Brayden stayed with us through Saturday. We had Thanksgiving at my parent's house and then the boys left for the Cowboys vs. Saints game. Cara kept me busy shopping. She and I had a blast...it was my first experience Black Friday shopping. I am now a believer and will make it an annual event!

After the family left, Ashlyn got worse and we ended up at the doctor that Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday!!! I felt so bad for the baby!

Mamaw came to visit that next weekend while I stayed at my boss' house to keep his kids. Justin switched out with me some so I could see the kiddos. He and Mamaw took good care of the kids.

So that leads me to this week. We have been busy finishing up Christmas to get ready to go see the family in West Monroe.

Ashlyn turned nine months old this week. So here is her update:

She weights 18 lbs. She is finally growing some hair. Her fourth tooth just broke through. She is cruising on all the furniture. Her favorite thing to do is stand in the window and "talk" to the outside. Ashlyn loves to clap and hollar. She is wearing size 12 month clothes and size 3 diapers. She naps from 10:30-noon and 3:30-5pm. She sleeps from 8:30am-8:30pm. Ashlyn loves to eat her veggies, oatmeal and snacks. She is scared of people in hats and is really starting to get attached to momma!

I am so excited that I have lost all baby weight +20 lbs since having Ashlyn. I still have a long way to go...but at least I am working on it.

Ashlyn Rose- Eight Months Old

Ashlyn Rose LoBello is eight months old. She is sitting up, rolling over, pulling up and saying "da-da", "ma-ma" and "hi". Ashlyn is really good at waving bye to everyone. She is such a happy baby. We have finally gotten her in a really good routine. She sleeps 8:30-8:30, 10:30-12 and 3:30-5. She eats lots of food, oatmeal and snacks. Ashlyn weighs about 18 1/2 pounds and wears size 3 diapers and 6-9 month clothes. I am loving staying at home with her!!!

Abby Grace's Birthday

Abby Grace had a big birthday weekend that ended up with her having strep throat on Monday. Justin and I picked her up from school on Friday along with her friend, Jack. We went to Great Wolf Lodge and stayed Friday night and Saturday. When we got to Papa & Gigi's house on Saturday, Mimi and Deda were there. We got to hang out all day and go to dinner. On Saturday, we had Abby Grace's birthday celebration for lunch. Her favorite gift was a dollar store toy that Gigi got her. Later that night we went back to Gigi's house to trick or treat. The doorbell started to ring and Abby Grace's friends were showing up. We had her a small surprise party with all of her friends. Pizza, candy, gifts, cake and trick or treating....lots of fun!!!
